Guided by Mary Kay Ash’s dream to enrich the lives of women everywhere, the Mary Kay Ash Foundation raises and distributes funds to invest in breakthrough cancer research to find cures for cancers affecting women and ending domestic violence.

Who is a Mary Kay Ash Foundation Ambassador*?
Being an MKAF Ambassador is likely something you’re already doing – without the fabulous perks! MKAF Ambassadors are members of Mary Kay’s Independent Sales Force who help support and share the mission of the Foundation with their customers, friends, community, and beyond. MKAF Ambassadors find meaningful ways to further the mission of the Foundation through volunteerism, fundraising, engaging on social media and more!

Fundraising Requirements (new)
We wish we could say every penny raised by the Mary Kay Ash Foundation goes straight to cancer research or our fight against domestic violence. But in reality, running the Foundation—and the Ambassador Program—takes funds. While we are always grateful for those who express interest in the program, Ambassadors who join the program but don’t fundraise end up costing the Foundation money.
Mary Kay Ash famously said, “The most successful people are ordinary people with extraordinary determination.” We agree! That’s why we’re introducing fundraising requirements for our Ambassadors so we can continue the inspiring work of the Foundation. This will allow our team to provide more support to Ambassadors that are actively fundraising for our amazing causes.
Moving forward, Ambassadors must donate AND/OR fundraise a minimum of $200/Seminar year to be considered “active”. At the end of each Seminar year, the Foundation team will mark anyone who doesn’t meet the fundraising requirements for that year as “inactive”.
- Inactive Ambassadors WILL receive some communications, including the Ambassador Newsletter
- Inactive Ambassadors WON’T receive any discount codes or be invited to the Ambassador Reception while “inactive”
